CASE STUDIES
Alimentation Couche-Tard

OPIN’s mission was to create a global intranet solution that would allow Alimentation Couche-Tard employees, franchise operators, and stakeholders to leverage a single global platform. The platform would improve communication, apply best practices, and enable knowledge sharing while standardizing operation support. The retail giant has stores worldwide, under the Couche-Tard, Circle K, and Ingo brands, so the solution had to reflect one consistent brand.

Irving Oil

Irving Oil and OPIN have embarked on a journey to unify Irving’s digital experience, bringing six distinct websites under a single enterprise Drupal site. The solution OPIN provided was a website that delivers an exceptional digital experience to potential customers, recruits and stakeholders on a single, easy-to-use website.

University of Northern British Columbia

The new website was built to provide streamlined user experience, adapting seamlessly for devices and integrating legacy information. User profiling has provided more targeted information for students interested in the university’s programs, entrance requirements, and admissions procedures. The more than two-fold increase in student applications, attributed largely by the improvements to the website, has exceeded the university’s expectations. The increase has provided the university with higher calibre students, increased visibility and a better ability to promote research outcomes.

OPIN's creative director worked tirelessly with the Prime Minister’s creative team to develop new designs, which would later be recognized by the International Summit Creative Awards as the Best Government Web Design of 2014 and by Acquia as the 2015 Partner Site of the Year.

Government of Bermuda

The criteria for the project centred around laying a foundation for a scalable solution on a single, stable platform that can be used for future years of development and expansion. The technology needed to transform and streamline the Government’s online business processes, integrate with external assets and software systems and make a splash while reaffirming the public’s faith in technology and how it can be used.

University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History

The university museum’s primary goal was to enhance their digital brand with a newly redesigned website that is easy to maintain and would provide increased traffic, intuitive structure and navigation, clear cross-referencing, coherent logic, and improved search engine optimization. Their previous website, launched in 2010, was outdated, and the new site represents a stark improvement over its predecessor.
